I don’t usually write Google reviews, but my... experience with After Eight over the last few months was so good that I felt like I had to.I originally called just looking for a supply-only quote and ended up talking to Shane. Right from the start he gave me great pricing and was super easy to deal with. Then my contractor completely ghosted me, and Shane somehow managed to squeeze our flooring project in with basically no notice (during the Christmas season of all times) so that my family could still move into our house on time.What started as just buying some tile turned into them doing the flooring throughout our entire home, and honestly I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.I won’t use anyone other than Shane for flooring projects going forward. Wow, from start to finish Bob Lauman a sales... associate helped our family choose and install the perfect flooring to our basement living room. We were worried about the fact that it was a small sale and typically we found businesses don't tend to give you that much attention, but bob was great, even when a issue came up during installation. After searching around for a bit to find best... pricing for flooring, After Eight came in with quotes at a much more reasonable price than any other places we had gotten quotes from. Shane was our project manager and went above and beyond for us. There was a slight hiccup during install that he handled immediately and communicated well with us throughout, and it came out to be even cheaper than expected. Shane made something that seemed like a big and intense project feel really doable and he pulled it off. Highly recommended both Shane and After Eight!read more

After having a very positive experience with... After Eight Flooring in 2007 we decided to contact them once again when it was time for new upstairs carpeting and a runner for our curved staircase. We met Shane Garbutt on our arrival at the showroom and he was able to quickly zero in on what we were looking for. He was knowledgeable on types and qualities of carpet, and helped to steer us into a suitable choice. What could have been an exhausting session in the showroom was actually very straightforward and we are more than happy with our choice. Once the carpet was ready to be installed, Shane was very professional in keeping us informed on how it would work. As expected, the runner was a bit tricky as each step needed to be templated, but when we ran into a bit of a problem Shane trouble-shooted very well and very quickly and got the problem solved. We have a beautiful new carpet now, and very grateful to Shane and After Eight Flooring for their work on our behalf. I would not hesitate to recommend Shane and this company for your next flooring job. Shane was an absolute pleasure to work with.read more

I was referred to After Eight by... my restoration company, Complete Care Restorations, (another A++++ business), after suffering a house fire in March 2024.Right from the get go it was obvious the staff here knew their stuff and actually care. I had the pleasure of dealing with Moe for my flooring needs and Dianne for my blinds. Shane was incredibly helpful over the last 10... months helping us deal with our floors that were damaged by a delivery company. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had and helped with responses to the delivery company's adjuster. If I ever had to go through this process again I would 100% come back to Shane.The team that came and demo's our existing flooring and installed the new floors was also amazing. Very professional, polite and great to be around. They did amazing work. I called after eight to complete my basement... renovation and replace some old carpet upstairs, I was transferred to Daniel Grant and he was a god send! We had contracted with After Eight Flooring for... new porcelain tile floors, tub and shower surround, new fireplace surround, and kitchen backsplash. Our sales representative was Ted McFarlane who took us through the whole process from start to finish. He made many personal visits to my home to help me with tile choices and to oversee the work that was being done. We were also assisted greatly by Mia, the in-house interior designer. She guided me along on choosing paint colours, flooring selections, kitchen backsplash, and those little details that I never would have thought of. I could not have asked for a better team and without a doubt received the highest level of customer service. The cost was very competitive, quality of products were excellent, installers skilled and professional, and Ted and Mia were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this company.read more

Dealt with Moe at After Eight Floorings... throughout the entire process. He was patient with us, ensuring we found the right flooring for our space. He made 2 or 3 site visits as well to drop off/pick up samples, offer sound recommendations, and finally, inspect the work that was done.The installers that were sent were also highly professional and great at what they do. They also cleaned up after themselves beyond what would have been expected. I just found the whole experience to be positive, so I wanted to leave a review and recommend this place. Flooring made up the majority of our development costs, so when settling on a partner, we're happy we landed with a company that treated us like family.read more
